This week a new semester began and I'm not sure if I mentally prepared for what's to come but by the end of the week I will have to be...
Goodbye days of being bored of doing nothing and sleeping in until lunch, hello eight o clock lectures...it is definitely not a warm welcome. It's time to put my gown up pants on and pull my socks up because I need to dominate this term.
1. I must NOT procrastinate.
2. I must NOT miss any 8 o clock lectures.
3. I must NOT take afternoon naps.
4. I MUST use my time effectively.
5. I MUST PLAN PLAN PLAN
6. I MUST balance.
7. I MUST maintain a POSITIVE attitude
8. I MUST start this all on Monday.
An important lesson I have learnt about school is NEVER to FOOL yourself by setting unattainable goals. It is essential to be realistic and honest with yourself and not set semester goals, like new years resolutions that are left for years to come. After more then a month of vacation it is difficult to get back into the routine where you are required to Sleep, Eat, Law school but I am using this week to settle in.
I have set the above goals for myself in order to achieve the results I want. I know that everyday I will have to continuously work on them inorder to achieve success. The reality is that life is a working progress and some things are easier said then done. As life is filled with choice i intend to be a CHAMP and not a chomp by crossing goal number eight off my list on Monday.I am definitley choosing to start this semester with a positive attitude and as I intend to be a CHAMP, I thought why not do it in style...with my lovely new longchamp collection of bags from Abu Dhabi. I am using the zippered small pouch as a make up bag, because it's the perfect size for when I am on the go. I thought it was lime green but the website refers to it as moss, I have learnt a new colour.
