Velvet mess turned into a Collaboration of Success

Every girl needs an LBD, a velvet dress, a stilletou...well the list is endless of lifes essential wearables... I had planned  an elegant clssic black velvet dress to celebrate Eid, after a blessed month of Ramadaan. The perfect velvet dress turned into a complete mess, with darts sewn out of place and puckering all over the place. I grabbed a few items and with a little help from the Celebstyleonline. Team we turned my velvet destress into a hot mess. A simple black dress, with a chiffon skirt to add poof and an egelant lace jacket to create a vintage look. A little sparkle to break the black with a beaded diamante necklace, a butterfly highwaisted belt, swaraski earings and the look was completed with a classic black heel.

The day was filled with love, happiness and light- getting ready with the girls is always fun. I am so grateful to the awesome ladies at MAC Cosmetics who spolit me with a complimentary make over. The amazing make-up artist used her magic to create a simple glow, twiggy style eyes and popping lips. A special thank you to Natasha at Inglot SA who helped us choose the perfect breathable nail varnish and painted our nails...we will be back for more, loving the idea of halal nail varnish. I added little black laced gloves for the greeting process. The day was filled with lavish food, laughter and family....
